Description
This stunning Vishnu Vilakku is a exceptionally crafted piece and a rare find from the past. The Vilakku bears the divine Vishnu namam in the center flanked by symbols of the sun and crescent moon on either side. A herringbone/braided pattern goes around the edge of the piece, meeting at a point that features the topper. The lamp has a generous oil well with raised walls and accomodates a single wick in the front.
This stunning piece has been procured from the South of Tamil Nadu and is estimated to be between 70 and 80 years of age.
Styling and usage: This divine lamp can hold can be set in the pooja room and can also be used to add warmth to pre-existing decor arrangements around the home.
