Description
This exquisite bronze comb is a rare find from the past, that is sure to add value to any collection of brass and bronze antiquities. Exceptionally crafted in bronze, this stunning piece features a double-toothed comb set on an ornate handle. The handle features a divine woman playing a musical instrument while she stands in a simple, yet beautiful floral pedestal. The pedestal tapers downwards in tiers, to a dull point. The two teeth/prongs are set into a U shaped frame that also outlines two mirrored parrots that face away from each other. Engravings and etchings make for the detail work on the piece, and a rich patina envelopes its surface, adding to the age old aesthetic!
This stunner has been procured from Salem and is estimated to be between 70 and 80 years of age.
