I am Dr Hemapriya, Mom to two adorable kids and wife to a Paediatric Cardiac Surgeon. Along with being a medical professional, I’m a certified child nutritionist, the CEO of My Little Moppet, India’s leading parenting blog, as well as the founder of Little Moppet Foods, an organic food store.

I live in the temple city of Madurai, in the beautiful South Indian state of Tamil Nadu, a place known for its love for silk sarees and gorgeous temple architecture. This probably explains my other passion – antique home decor! 🥰

We live in a huge rented house that is very old! After moving into this house, I started looking for antique pieces that would complement the overall decor of the place. As I got deeper and deeper into this fascination, I found myself with a huge collection of beautiful antique pieces – too many to fit in my home!

All these antique pieces were sourced with a lot of effort and were really close to my heart. I wanted them to have a home where they would be cherished and loved, rather than being dumped into a box and stored somewhere. That was when I decided to start a website to connect with other antique lovers who would enjoy these pieces as much as I did.

The proceeds from selling the antiques will be donated to the Little Moppet Heart Foundation, an NGO I run with my husband to help underprivileged children with congenital heart disease get the treatment they deserve.
