This stunning vintage hair comb is a gorgeous piece to add to add to your dresser or a frame upon your gallery wall ahead of the festivities! Crafted in brass, this beautiful piece features an image of Lord Krishna and a Naga framed by carved borders on all sides. The top end features a design akin to prabhavalis complete with a Yazhi and mirrored birds facing away form each other. A row of teeth jut out from below the comb cut to size and spaced as far apart as possible by hand. Further detailing is done in the form of etched in lines that define the features of the divine entities features on the piece. The comb has acquired a rich patina over the years that adds to its vintage charm!
This beautiful piece has been procured from Phalodi and is estimated to be between 20 and 30 years of age.
