This beautiful brass kerosene lamp from the yesteryears makes for a wonderful addition to your home decor arrangements! Exceptionally crafted in brass, this beautiful piece follows traditional design with a simple bulbous form and stands on a circular base. The piece has a large fuel reservoir that rises upwards into a narrow neck. The top of the piece can be screwed open to insert wicks and refuel the lamp. It also bears script from its previous owner that has been hand hammered on the outside of the lamp wall. A rich patina envelopes the entire piece, adding to its old world aesthetic.
This beauty has been procured from Kumbakonam and is estimated to be between 40 and 50 years of age.
Styling and usage: This beautiful lamp makes for a wonderful addition to pre-existing arrangements around the home. It can be placed on entryway consoles, into alcoves or on ledges.
