Description
This radiant Kuiyal Bosi Chombu, or a bathing chombu is a beautiful find from many decades ago. Exceptionally crafted in brass, the chombu stands on a circular base and rises up into a flared form. The rim continues form the cinched neck on the piece and the edge slightly flares outwards to facilitate easy pouring. The entirety of the radiant surface bears fine engravings in the form of parallel lines that wrap around the chombu’s form. A rich patina shrouds the piece, adding to its Vintage charm!
This beauty has been procured from Coimbatore and is estimated to be between 50 and 60 years of age.
Styling and usage: This versatile vessel can be used as intended or make for a wonderful table accent to hold fresh florals. It can also be set over shelves or be used as a radiant planter for succulents and small indoor plants.
