Description
This radiant brass chombu is an exquisite piece from the past, albeit a scaled down version that would make for a wonderful addition to your Golu padis or shelves. The chombu features cross-hatched etchings around the midsection and simple, traditional line work along the neck and towards the base of the piece. The piece has a rim that is squared and also bears crescent-moon impressions on the surface. A rich patina settles into the nooks, adding to its vintage charm!
This chombu has been procured from Kumbakonam and is estimated to be between 40 and 50 years of age.
