This stunning brass Mulapari was once an indispensable vessel in the quintessential South Indian household. With an exceptionally crafted form, this beautiful Mulapari follows traditional design and stands on a narrow circular base. The inside of the Mulapari is lined with eiyam, a traditional tin alloy that protects the brass surface from corrosion. Two round handles are riveted into the sides of the piece to facilitate easy use, and a rich patina shrouds the surface, adding to its vintage charm!
This stunner has been procured from Kumbakonam and is estimated to be between 60 and 70 years of age.
Styling and usage: This beautiful piece can be used in the kitchen for storage of snacks and savories and it also makes for a wonderful planter to set amidst decor arrangements.
