Description
This ornate brass Sheshnag spoon is proof of excellent craftsmanship and an eye for detail. The spoon bowl has a teardrop shape with a way pattern on the rim. The handle is formed around the intricate image of the Sheshnag with the signature looped design. The underside of the spoon bowl has leaf-like patterns and the entire piece is supported on three small legs. The piece has an antique finish that accentuates the detail work along the length of the spoon!
It is said that Shesha holds all the planets of the universe on his hood. He is also referred to as Adishesha (the first) and it is believed that when he uncoils, time moves forward so as to allow all creation to take place.
