This beautiful Dhokra bowl is a gorgeous find that boasts excellent craftsmanship throughout. The bowl has been meticulously crafted in brass by the method of Dhokra wax casting, a skill native to Bastar’s tribespeople. A majority of the brass vessel features coils, and the upper section is decorated with elephant and crescent moon medallions separated by leaf motifs along the metallic rope pattern that goes around the middle.
