Description
This radiant kuthu vilakku from decades past is a beautiful bronze-crafted piece that exudes traditional charm. Exceptionally crafted in a classic form, the mini Vilakku stands on a raised circular base with a flared plate that provides good balance. The lamp column boasts traditional designs with subtly cinched in areas and rounded ribs that adds to the aesthetic appeal. As for the lamp well, it can comfortably hold a generous amount of oil and can accommodate 5 wicks. A simplistic topper stands right above, characteristic to the Kuthu Vilakku design.
This beautiful bronze piece has been procured from Kumbakonam and is estimated to be between 70 and 80 years of age.
