This adorable mini Dhokra pot is a gorgeous find that boasts excellent craftsmanship throughout. The bowl has been meticulously crafted in brass by the method of Dhokra wax casting, a skill native to Bastar’s tribespeople. A majority of the brass vessel features coils, and rope-like pattern, and the upper section is made with repetitive coiling work that gives way to a pronounced rim on the piece. With beautiful swirling patterns and traditional line work, this pot makes for a great example of the art form.
