This radiant paan box from the yesteryears makes for a wonderful addition to your home decor this summer! Crafted in brass, the piece features a rectangular paan box with a hinged lid. The facets are kept simple, with the lid equipped with a dome-shaped fitting. The box has three compartments on the inside. The lid has a swing back mechanism and houses the compartment which is used to store sunnam or betel nuts. The box also has ample room to house a nutcracker, a small pestle and betel leaves.
This stunning piece has been procured from Tirunelveli and is estimated to be between 50 and 60 years of age.
