Description
This radiant, decades old mini garlic basket has been wonderfully crafted in brass and has a great likeness to the woven coir ones. The basket has a square base that flawlessly rises upwards into a circular rim. The inner surface is lined with eeya / eiyam, a tin alloy that protects the brass surface from corrosion. The design on the outer surface has been incorporated keeping the traditional basket weave design in mind. This beautiful brass piece also has a dark patina settling into the edges and adding to it’s old world charm.
This radiant piece has been procured from Nagercoil and is estimated to be between 70 and 80 years of age.
