Description
This stunning brass grater is amongst the recent finds that have arrived at the studio ahead of the festivities. Crafted in brass, this beautiful grater features a traditional grating surface with uniformly spaced grating blades on a slightly domed surface. The form is akin to a tortoise, complete with four small feet and a head riveted into the frame of the piece. Although, each of these elements serve a greater utilitarian purpose in terms of keeping the grater at an elevation, and allows for easy storage with the small loop that can be used to hang it against a wall. A rich patina envelopes this beautiful piece, adding to its vintage charm!
This beautiful grater has been procured from Phalodi and is estimated to be between 40 and 50 years of age.
Styling and usage: This beautiful piece is not for your drawers, and can instead be hung against the kitchen wall or shelf on display when not in use!
