Crafted in brass, this miniature features a small handbag with a single front flap. The surface is decorated with beautiful botanical motifs that add to the aesthetic quality. The front flap is a semi-circle with a border from which small embellishments are hung. The back has a striped textured pattern tat contrasts the busy front. The sides have two loops which allow the handbag to be strung with cord or ribbon. A rich patina envelopes the entirety of the piece, adding to its vintage charm.
This charming miniature has been procured from Salem and is estimated to be between 30 and 40 years of age.
Product Care :
– Dust off residue/dirt with a soft brush
– For metals, clean with soft muslin cloth and warm water
– For thorough cleaning, use mild soap/ well diluted vinegar or tamarind paste. This helps retain the natural patination on the piece.
– For metal artefacts, leave in direct sunlight.
