Description
This beautiful Nandi faced Ganga Jamuna Kamandalam makes for a divine addition to your home decor and pooja arrangements alike. Made from brass and copper, this Kamandalam, also referred to as a water pot, follows a simple traditional design complete with a circular handle and curved spout. The Kamandalam bears an oval vessel set on a simple rounded base. The surface is primarily brass, with a band of copper making up the midsection of the piece. The handles are riveted along the same axis as the Nandi and feature a solid build with a well rounded quality. The Nandi head acts as the spout from which the water is poured and is welded to the front of the piece. A gorgeous patina is seen settling over the entirety of the holy water pot, adding to its old-world charm!
This beautiful Nandi Ganga Jamuna Kamandalam has been procured from Coimbatore and is estimated to be between 50 and 60 years of age.
