Description
This stunning coconut scraper is a decades old piece reminiscent of wood fired stoves and mud-floored kitchens. Exceptionally crafted in teakwood, this beauty has been made keeping traditional design in mind. The base wooden board is cut out in the shape of a fish and the sharp grating tool above is fitted to the front, and secured through to the back of the wood. The design is minimal, the plank is well designed and sturdy and is flat and even to secure under the leg to ensure that it doesn’t move during use.
This stunner has been procured from Kumbakonam and is estimated to be between 70 and 80 years of age.
Styling and usage: This beauty can be used as a decor accent in the kitchen or dining room. It also makes for a statement piece when mounted on a gallery wall.
Significant feature: Fish design, exquisite teak wood craftsmanship.
